Of Spanish and Brazilian citizenship, graduated in Art - Education (with specialization in Plastic Arts in 1986 –Pontifícia Catholic University of Campinas- PUCC). Started working as a fabric designer for decoration with use of graphic software for 5 years. Cari Lopez initiates her work as graphic designer for printed matter and as a web designer in 1995. Director of the Cultural Department of the ASATI management 1986, For-Educator of the Academy Campineira of Letter and Arts with illustrations and two stories published in 1987. Director of Publicity of the GAVES (Group Friends of the Honorary Vice-Consulate of the Spain) in Campinas and Region from 1996 to 2003.
Student of a special Course for Craft Jewelry and Introduction to the History of the Jewelry in 2004. After graduating the PhotoImpact Online Course in Portuguese administered by Tere Gregori, up to that time the only one in operation in Brazil, and having Biba Silveira as teacher, she found the need to expand her knowledge writing more tutorials in Portuguese. Expanding the knowledge acquired of the tool and valuing still more the original work of the pioneers, she founded the PISF - PI without Borders - together with some of her old colleagues.
It was a steep learning curve, regarding the improvement of the methodology of training, and the elaboration of tutorials as yet unpublished in Portuguese and the perception and scope of the software.
Having formed that group, and influenced by a long term hobby of designing jewels and costume jewelry, it resulted in the first practical steps toward a graphic program which gives good results. In the Virtual Impact (site) she began researching the tools utilized in design of jewels. Earning then the 1º design of jewels of Brazil – contest 2006, in the category "THE Brilliance of the Gold and Diamonds" being also between the more voted on-line, with the pieces of the collection "Brazilian Legends" Mother D' gold – bonds, earrings and brooches. She became interested in scrapbooking as a designer in order to use the pieces of jewelry in that art. She becomes passionate by the idea, not only using jewels designed by her, but creating images conjugated for her kits.
